  • NEA records all Live Stream Exams and holds Recorded Digital Exam submissions for up to one year. If the Learner or their parent\/guardian does not want the examination recorded, they must contact the NEA office and opt out in advance of the examination.

  • Recordings are used primarily for assessment purposes and are only accessed by contracted examiners, who are bound by our data protection rules.

  • In some cases, recordings may also be used to support examiner training, standardisation activities, quality assurance checks, or the handling of Complaints, Enquiries about Results, and Appeals.

  • Recordings are never published, shared externally, or disclosed to third parties without clear consent, with the exception of anonymous recordings for comparability exercises with other exam boards through CDMT.
